SUMMARY

John P. Repko, is a seasoned C-Suite Executive, Educator, Board Member, and frequent Speaker with broad expertise in business and technology.  As a serial Chief Information Officer for five public companies, John has deep experience in digital transformations, IT turnarouund, cybersecurity, cloud, Six Sigma, IT Outsourcing, mergers and acquisition integration, spinoffs, IT strategy and finance. He has a broad understanding of global markets and international cultures, having worked extensively overseas and managed multicultural workforces.

FORMER 5-X CIO/CIO+ SENIOR EXECUTIVE

John’s 5-year stint as AIG’s Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer included his earlier time as CIO+ with dual responsibilities as Global Procurement Leader and CIO.  During his tenure, John led the turnaround of the Global Technology and Sourcing teams at AIG and co-led the successful multi-year AIG 200 Transformation Program.

Prior to this, John was Vice President & Global Chief Information Officer at Johnson Controls (JCI), a global diversified technology and multi-industrial leader, where he led a technology team of 1,500-plus employees in 43 countries.

At Tyco International, a security systems and fire protection company that merged with Johnson Controls in 2016, John was Senior Vice President, Global Chief Information Officer and Enterprise Transformation Leader and led the turnaround of the Tyco technology, Six Sigma and shared services functions.

Earlier in his career, John was Senior Vice President & Global Chief Information Officer at Covance, Inc. (now Labcorp) and at SES S.A. in Luxemburg and a divisional CIO and SVP, Six Sigma at the General Electric Company for fourteen years. He began his career as a Senior Accountant and CPA with Ernst & Young.

John is a Business Fellow and Professor at the Villanova University School of Business with a focus on digital transformation and cybersecurity.

John’s extensive Board and Governance experience includes serving the Boards of his five public companies over 27 years, serving as an Independent Board Member for the BioClinica (NASDAQ: BioC) Board and Audit Committee, serving as a Member of the JCI Foundation Board and serving as President of the Tyco Cares Foundation.  John is a Qualified Financial Expert (QFE) under SEC requirements and a Qualified Technology Expert (QTE).

John was a CIO Hall of Fame Inductee in 2018, and a recipient of the HMG Global Leadership Institute Award in 2022.  In 2023, John was recognized as one of the Top 25 CIOs in Financial Services, and was named one of Insurance CIO Outlook’s Top 10 Life Insurance CIOs.

John earned a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology, cum laude, at Drexel University and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, at Villanova University.  His many certifications include Certified Public Accountant (State of Pennsylvania, inactive), Sig Sigma Master Black Belt (General Electric Company) and Novell ECNE (Enterprise Certified Netware Engineer.)
